OLIVER! Under the direction of Emily and Sarah 35 children worked so hard to make this production have a real buzz.\u00a0<\/p>

They put such a lot of effort into the rehearsals and the performances, and it paid off. They performed with great confidence and they were really appreciated by our pack out audiences.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

The show was hard work but the Society was for once, able to make a small profit from one of its musicals. Musical productions almost always struggle to cover the outlay of the production costs. It was nice to see the treasurer with a smile after the event!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Many thanks for your kind invitation to see \u201cOliver!\u201d and for the warm and generous welcome I received.<\/span>What an enjoyable evening it was. Having done the show many times and seen a great variety of presentations it was good to see what CODS could do with it. As usual Mike Palmer\u2019s clever designs assisted by atmospheric lighting and most effective costumes, took us back to Dickensian London. There were some interesting and different approaches from the Directors and this certainly maintained my interest.<\/span><\/p>

It was good to hear the score given its full weight by the excellent orchestra \u2013 a major plus point.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

With so many youngsters in the cast you must have had no problem filling the houses \u2013 all very good for the coffers.<\/p>

We always expect to be challenged when we come to Crediton and this production was no exception. It certainly made us think.<\/span><\/p>

It was great to meet up with so many members afterwards, reminding me what a friendly and generous group you are. It definitely added icing to the cake.<\/span><\/p>
